'Guarantee inclusive rights,' stresses RPP
KATHMANDU- The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has stressed on guaranteeing inclusive rights in its coming general convention.
A meeting of the party's Work Execution Committee held under the chairmanship of Chair Kamal Thapa at the party office, Dhumbarahi, today, held discussion on a proposal presented by Coordinator of the Statute Amendment Committee, Buddhiman Tamang.
On the occasion, most of the participants expressed their view to take the party ahead in an inclusive manner, said Party Spokesperson, Rajaram Shrestha.
Shrestha said, "Most of the party members expressed their view in favour of increasing representation of women, oppressed communities, ethnics, Madhesis and Muslims in the upcoming general convention of the party."
The party is holding its general convention from February 17-20 in Kathmandu.
Similarly, the meeting also discussed various matters including constitution amendment, election of three tiers and latest political scenario of the country, said Shrestha.
